RESUMEN: We study the effect of a magnetic field on the topologically protected surface Andreev states of an odd-parity superconductor realized in doped topological insulator. We show that a magnetic field parallel to the surface where Andreev states are localized induces an overall tilting of their dispersion. The magnetic field allows for a controllable change of the velocity of the surface states that can find useful applications in transport experiments. We show that for the particular case of a odd-parity superconducting doped topological insulator a structural change in the bands of the Andreev states can be obtained for relatively small magnetic field in the Meissner phase.
